This exhibit contains every submission that Liz Truss made to King Charles III during her 49-day premiership (September 6-October 25, 2022). These submissions are in the form they left Downing Street, so while they bear Truss's signature, they do not have the King's approval. Although several submissions reference attached lists of names, the Cabinet Office was unable to provide me with the attachments because they said they could not be certain that the attachments they had on file were actually the ones that were sent to the Palace (!).

Liz Truss made a total of 18 submissions to King Charles III:

Eight are for ministerial appointments or resignations.

Eight are for honors-related matters, including:

Three for life peerages;

Two for revoking appointments as Members of the Order of the British Empire;

One for Knighthoods and an appointment as a Knight Commander of the Order of St. Michael and St. George.

One for the Imperial Service Medal; and

One for a Privy Counsellorship.

One is for the appointment of a Lord Lieutenant of Worcestershire.

One is for the appointment of a Canon of Worcester Cathedral.

This is the first time that the entirety of a Prime Minister's formal submissions have been collected in one place. While Truss's premiership was anomalous in many respects, it nevertheless provides a new perspective on one of the most tumultuous periods in British politics.
