Page 1 At the Court at Buckingham Palace THE 14th DAY OF MARCH 2018 PRESENT, THE QUEEN’S MOST EXCELLENT MAJESTY IN COUNCIL WHEREAS Her Majesty in Council was this day pleased, in pursuance of the provisions of an Act entitled Succession to the Crown Act 2013, to declare Her Consent to a Contract of Matrimony between Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales, K.C.V.O. and Rachel Meghan Markle, which Consent Her Majesty has caused to be signified under the Great Seal: HER MAJESTY was thereupon pleased to order, and it is hereby ordered, that the Instrument (a copy whereof is hereunto annexed), signifying Her Majesty’s Consent as aforesaid, be entered in the Books of the Privy Council in pursuance of the further provisions of the aforementioned Act.
