Special Features

This is the Patent Roll Entry. It's technically a record of the Warrant which is why it ends with "By Her Majesty's Command." However, it does not include the greeting clause addressed to the Lord Chancellor, the date clause, or the docquet. It also does not identify the person who procured the Warrant or who countersigned it. Patent Roll entries are sent to the National Archives at the end of each regnal year (along with the original Warrants) for permanent retention.
