Ornamentation

This text is taken from a handwritten transcript of the document in the College of Arms and may not reflect the formatting of the original.

Royal name is written in a Gothic hand. Recipient's name and first instance of "baronet" are emphasized in the text.

Special Features

Since Duveen had been knighted in 1919, the Letters Patent should have referred to him as "Sir Joseph Duveen of Millbank in Our City of Westminster Knight." It's not clear if the mistake is in the original patent or if this is a transcription error.
