<text>This document is quite similar to a Warrant for the UK Great Seal (cf. this example) with the key difference being that, instead of being addressed to the Lord Chancellor, it's addressed to the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland who is the custodian of Northern Ireland's Great Seal. Although contemporary UK Warrants no longer refer to the Lord Chancellor by name, NI Warrants still include the Secretary of State's name.

While UK Warrants include the surname of the Clerk of the Crown in Chancery, the Clerk of the Crown for Northern Ireland actually signs this type of Warrant.

While the Lord Chancellor customarily signs a UK Warrant in the lower left in order to authorize the sealing of the document (this is known as the 'recepi'), there is nothing similar on this Warrant. </text>
