<span>There is a pair of penciled Xs on either side of the King's approval.<br /><br /></span>This instrument using the gender-neutral pronoun "they" instead of a gendered pronoun when referring to the Lord Chancellor.<br /><br /><span>This submission refers to a "Commission" even though, strictly speaking, that term only applies when the Monarch empowers a group of Privy Counsellors to declare Royal Assent on their behalf in the House of Lords. </span><br /><br /><span>At one time, these submissions included a definite article before "Royal Assent" (e.g., </span><a href="https://cbaionline.org/corpus/items/show/287">this example from 1919</a><span>), but it must have been dropped at some point since it no longer appears in modern versions.</span><br /><br /><span>Two of the Bills in the list of titles have been reordered via red ink arrows.</span>
